VERBALISMS Magazine is seeking an Editorial Assistant. This position is responsible for fact checking, copyediting, writing news articles, article research and administrative support. The selected candidate will work closely with all levels of our editorial team to prepare quality content.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will display above-average Microsoft Word skills, be Internet savvy and display initiative. Must know AP Style, have superior copyediting skills, exhibit professional manner and be able to meet deadlines. Candidates should have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate will have a keen knowledge of hip-hop culture, online communications (i.e. instant messenger) and blogging experience.

This is a work from home position, so candidates must have daily access to the Internet and be available for weekly meetings with editorial staff.
